I'm probably going to be the only person to say that I really did not like this movie. Dan in Real Life is about a newspaper columnist who writes about family. His wife has been dead for four years and he's raising 3 girls on his own. While on a family vacation with his whole extended family he meets someone and falls in love with her, only to find out that it's his brothers girlfriend. So, the whole movie is his struggle with that during this reunion. It's just awkward and I hate awkard movies. I enjoyed the relationship that he had with his three girls and I loved his big family, but there were too many awkward situations for me to enjoy the movie.

Good to know. I'd heard some people say it was a really good movie, but I didn't know any details.
Love LOVED it! Haha. I'm really glad that although the dad was finding out he could fall in love quickly, he still wasn't letting his daughter's boyfriend stay over. Good dad.
I hate the movies with Ben Stiller in them where he's ALWAYS in an awkward situation. Like Meet the Parents. That's the annoying awkward movie thing I hate too.
Matt picked this up the other day, and I enjoyed a lot of it. Definitely some scenes I didn't enjoy though (like that bathroom one). I thought Steve Carrell (is that his name?) did a good job for his character. Sort of miserable and all that. It made me sad when the girls didn't like him. I'm not looking forward to those teenage days.
I LOVED this movie. It is one of my favorite comedies to date!!! Another favorite with equally meaty and meaningful dialogue and humorous situations is Stranger Than Fiction (except they could have left out the romantic scene for my sake). The Waitress was another very cute, warm and unique flick (but contains disturbing love interest scenes between the O.B.Gyn. and the waitress.) Excellent endings on all three of these movies.
I loved the "flowers" part in Stranger than Fiction. It was the best. That's a good one.
